Sound more Danish - Danish pronunciation course

A course for all those who want to sound better in Danish
Danish is difficult to pronounce, partly because of the complex sound system, and partly because of the outspoken difference between writing and speaking. Add to this the unfortunate fact that even minor pronunciation mistakes give rise to misunderstandings among the Danish population.
Knowledge
We will approach the physiology and the technique behind the Danish sounds from various angles: we will look at X-rays, drawings and diagrams; we will listen, practise and establish "short cuts" to sound right. In doing so, you will
• obtain basic knowledge about the organs of speech
• become familiar with all the Danish sounds
• get a good understanding of orthography and sound
Awareness
We will pinpoint the most important difficulties of Danish pronunciation in an effort to make you aware of what to focus on in order to improve (your pronunciation).
Preconditions
When you sign up for the course, it is important that you let us know how proficient you are in Danish, as we will plan the contents and form of the course accordingly.
